LIONEL Prewar 253 engine Vintage/Antique Engine-restored-see running video

I was asked if it could pull??? I posted a set of passenger cars and they pulled them without any problem easily around the track. Only engine for sale. I have two of these for sale identical. This is a very nice Lionel 253 serviced Great condition. I bought this one and it needed restored, and motor repaired. I paint the shell after taking out small dents. Cleaned up frame and serviced motor, I have been running this one as my own for several months. Great looking and running engine. Now it runs great in both directions Good wire and manual switch. I list them for what I have in them, cost plus materials. Runs great is both directions. Service and Has been serviced, Tested and runs. Tested it running in forward and reverse. Antique Prewar Tin Plate Engine. Made in the late 1920’S. Runs F & R, Forward and reverse. Look at the picture. Decide for your self. Read my feedback VIDEO RUNNING. Lionel Prewar 158 antique 100 year old engine, refurbished, see video runs great

Note I put a white grease on gears, you can see some of it. Found this one in need of lots of help. Needed a lot of work. Need taken apart, cleaned, re-wired, remove dents, strip and repainted shell. Serviced tested and see video of it running. Everything was polished and cleaned. It was totally refurbished and restored the shell and frame, new dummy light, Lot of work but runs and looks great now. Color is Dk Green. If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-10+ hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. Plus I usually put Fifty to one Hundred ++ dollars in refurbished or new parts. They are almost impossible to find anymore. And are not cheap. Sometimes less sometimes more. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. Even the new parts do not fit and have to be modified. SEE VIDEO OF IT RUNNING. Lionel Prewar Antique 150 engine-100 year old, Looks good runs good see video

Nice 100 year old antique Lionel 150 engine. I painted the gold trim and put the decals on. It was probably restored awhile ago. I didn’t do anything else to it. Check out everything and it runs see video. Runs a little fast with my large transformer. Need to have some car with it. Could run off the track by itself. Lionel Prewar O Gauge 249E Steam Locomotive & 265W Tender Tested with Video

Lionel Prewar O Gauge 249E Steam Locomotive & 265W Tender. This engine was tested and ran well with working whistle tender as shown in the video. The E-unit is a little sticky. LIONEL Prewar 153 Engine Green, runs foreword &Rev. Antique, see Video Running

Bought it from someone who started to restore it and gave up. They painted the frame and shell & decals only. I did the trim. Added the bell and light and serviced the motor. They do not know how to finish or where to get parts. Has a pull rod in front to rverse engine. Vintage/Antique Lionel 153 Prewar 0-4-0 Electric engine.. See Video of it running. Video is slower than actual running. I do not sell untested engines. Everything I sell has been serviced and runs. Some one asked me about sparks under the engines when running. If you add a few drops of oil to the side of the roller they will make better contact and not spark. Runs slow to fast speed. See last pictures of it running. Lubed, Over 90 years old. LiONEL Prewar 260E engine Vintage/antique, see Video & Pictures serviced, Nice

This is a Lionel 260E engine Refurbished, I serviced and Cleaned all the copper/brass. Bought as original but need motor work and missing parts. Camera shows it running slow. That is the camera. It run slow to really fast. I went over and cleaned all the brass and copper. New wheels, Added the missing side rods. I serviced it also. Engine was totally gone over and serviced. When tested ran great. All parts where cleaned and polished that were original. Added new parts that were missing or damaged. Great show piece and runner. What you see you will get. I had a lot of time and cost of parts in this set. Part are just not. Try to fined a good one. Anymore and when you find them they are very costly. Restore one and see. LIONEL Prewar 260 engine & Tender 260T 6 wheel trucks, see Video & Pictures

Camera shows it running slow. That is the camera. IT runs fast if you want. This is a Lionel 260E engine and 260T WITH THE 6 WHEEL TRUCKS, I Refurbished it, serviced and Cleaned all the copper/brass. Another one I refurbished. It was in poor condition when I bought it. Needed wheels, rewired, Lots of cosmetic parts missing, has a newer E-Unit with a switch in back to be able to run forward and reverse or switch it to run in one direction only. It run slow to really fast. I went over and cleaned all the brass and copper. Check wheels, Installed new pick ups. Added the missing side rods. I serviced it also. Engine was totally gone over and serviced. When tested ran great. All parts where cleaned and polished that were original. Added new parts that were missing or damaged.
