This is a rare vintage Lionel locomotive and passenger car set from the 1930s. The engine, model number 248, comes in a striking orange color. The two passenger cars, models 629 and 630, have also been pre-built and are in very good condition with no modifications. It is suitable for boys and girls aged 17 years and up and is a wonderful addition to any model railroad collection. The engine doesn’t sit right because the wheels are broken. Sorry I have no way of testing these so I don’t know if they work.
Very clean faceplate with little wear and base is better than average. Power cord pliable and in good shape. Tested all four channels and they show current. Made to power large prewar Standard Gauge locomotives, but can really make your postwar O gauge pull and rip around the layout.
