#318E Locomotive – This heavy loco includes an instruction card on how to oil it with machine oil. The wheels underneath the loco look cracked and brittle with age. I wiped this down gently but it is a little grimy.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of this item. This item has been repainted by the previous owner and shows visible brush strokes on some portions of the body, drip marks, and the roof is now a tan color that is not original. However the body still shows a few small spots of paint chips and rub marks throughout the body. The wheels show signs of wear from previous use. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Lionel brought this then Early Die Cast Steam Locomotives out with 027 to allow more reasonable train sets for the Marketplace after the Depression. The Engine is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, appears all original and Complete.
