Lionel 2600, 2601, 2602 Late Red Passenger Cars 1940 Prewar O Gauge X4756

Set of 3 enameled metal 9 passenger cars, are late production, made 1940, probably for a Sears set. They have high-step auto couplers with black journals, no vestibules on ends. Cars are original red with ivory-white inserts, stamped lettering shows some wear on baggage car. Original finish shows some wear, mainly edges and details, more wear on roofs. One truck is missing operating coupler parts, another missing sliding shoe, baggage has no light parts. 2 are missing window plastic. 2600 and 2601 need bulbs and rewiring. All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. Also included are (2) #1690 Pullman Passenger Cars and (1) #1691 Pullman Observation Car. The locomotive runs excellent and is very fast around the track. The e-unit functions very good through forward/neutral/reverse and the locomotive has a working headlight. There is no re-paint, no touch-up, and nothing is missing on the set. Lionel 814R Refrigerator Car Rare 1940 Prewar O Gauge X4891

One of the rarest variations refrigerator car, 1940 version with manual couplers. Car is white with black stamped lettering, black trim, Tuscan roof and dished frame with high-step manual couplers. Brake wheels were re-attached, otherwise car is original. It has overall wear, most is at edges and 1 side. Also some corrosion stains, mostly on side with the most scratch wear.
