Vintage Lionel Lines train cars, track with switchbacks and rail crossing. This cool set has a black tender, an orange Shell tanker car (model 1680), a Curtiss Baby Ruth candy boxcar (model 1879), and a red caboose (model 1682). All are Lionel Lines. Fun for a collector. Includes Track sections and switch backs shown, railroad crossing sign. Add these O-guage, tin, and pre-war gems to your collection! The cars have some surface rust and the Baby Ruth and caboose are missing one coupler each. The track has surface rust and some missing connection pins. We used this as a Christmas display.
These diecast locomotives are powered by AC electricity and come pre-built, with an analog control system and a Three-Rail System gauge. Made by Lionel in the United States, these locomotives are a part of a transportation-themed collection, perfect for hobbyists and collectors interested in model railroads and trains from the 1940s. They engine and tender were serviced and both work properly. The engine is in VG condition but does have a crack in the corner of the casing for the tender attachment. The engine and tender both have some wear and scuffs.
