Offered is a vintage Lionel prewar O-gauge passenger train set consisting of a Lionel 1689E steam locomotive, matching Lionel Lines tender, two No. 1690 passenger coaches, one No. 1691 observation car, and 14 pieces of O-gauge track (10 curved and 4 straight). This train set has been stored for many years and has not been tested, due to lack of transformer. Lionel 1689E steam locomotive. 10 curved O-gauge track sections. 4 straight O-gauge track sections. The locomotive, tender, passenger cars, and track are all in original vintage condition with expected wear from age and use. Paint shows scratches, chips, and wear consistent with a train set that is approximately 85 years old. The passenger cars retain attractive original lithography and display well. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are an important part of the description and show the item’s overall condition.
