The train is in very nice condition, both mechanically and cosmetically, and the full train with cars measures approximately 21 in length. Rick Mayer and Art Varney initially got together in 1966. Rick was a master tool and die maker, and Art was an incredible sheet metal guy. In 1973 they formed the Rich-Art Company, and they produced many beautiful PreWar locomotives and cars of classic trains. Their trains are very collectible.
