249E Steam Locomotive and No. This pair was produced just prior to WWII from 1936 – 1939. The locomotive & Tender seem to be original and it shows some wear. The color is Gunmetal. There is a little light surface rust mainly around the trucks. It is also missing one of the tender’s back grab rails. The locomotive runs very well. With a lot of power.
