Lionel 711 Vintage O Prewar Left-Hand & Right-Hand Remote Switch Pair. Here is a Lionel 711 Vintage O Prewar Left-Hand & Right-Hand Remote Switch Pair. These switches are for use with Lionel O72 track and were produced in the years just before WWII. These switches feature non-derailing operation just like the postwar O22s. If your train is approaching the switch and the switch is thrown the wrong way, the switch will automatically throw to that direction so the oncoming train does not derail. It also features operation from a fixed voltage source instead of track power so you can set your switches regardless of track power. Minor scratches and paint nicks, minor surface rust, no dents. Standards for all toy train related accessory items apply to the visual appearance of the item and do not consider the operating functionality of the equipment. Condition and Grading Standards are subjective, at best, and are intended to act as a guide. 1942 Road Name: No Road Name Scale/Era: O Prewar Model Type: Track Availability.
