Lionel 249e Prewar Locomotive w/2265W Tender. This is a matching pair thats been gently cleaned, sanitized, completely serviced and test operated. The Locomotive motor has been serviced and it runs very smoothly in forward and reverse. The headlamp functions as depicted in the photos. Cosmetically the paint is very nice with only some minor nicks and scratches, all the nickel trim is intact and in excellent condition. The Tender trucks have been serviced and rewired and the whistle motor has been serviced and the whistle is very good. Cosmetically it has some scratches and missing paint on the front of the chassis but no dents , and the nickel handrails and ladder are all intact. Thank You for your interest.
