Up for sale is a Really Beautiful Pre-war Lionel standard gauge 10E Locomotive in Excellent condition with some minor scratches. Most of my items are vintage. They naturally show wear from age and use. You are ultimately responsible for viewing photos and asking questions. Please keep in mind that my close up pictures magnify everything including flaws. I describe each item to the best of my ability, but I cannot always detail each flaw the same way that you may view it. ALL items are described with honest intent! All my auctions have No Reserve price. I always try my best to satisfy my customers.

Lionel Prewar Standard Gauge two tone Green 9E Set with Cars (Restored)

I’ve owned this set for at least 10 years. The Engine runs well and is in excellent condition. The engine and passenger cars have been partially painted and the main wheels on the engine have been replaced. Also the passenger cars are in excellent condition. Lionel prewar passenger car #190 observation end car dk green ex. Orig

Excellent all original observation end car. Photos do not seem to show the car in the best light. I will try to post better photos. Flash seems to have washed out the dark green color which is shiny and excellent with some typical scratches and nicks but still excellent. In windows is original.

LIONEL Prewar 153 Engine Green, runs foreword &Rev. Antique, see Video Running

Bought it from someone who started to restore it and gave up. They painted the frame and shell & decals only. I did the trim. Added the bell and light and serviced the motor. They do not know how to finish or where to get parts. Has a pull rod in front to rverse engine. Vintage/Antique Lionel 153 Prewar 0-4-0 Electric engine.. See Video of it running. Video is slower than actual running. I do not sell untested engines. Everything I sell has been serviced and runs. Some one asked me about sparks under the engines when running. If you add a few drops of oil to the side of the roller they will make better contact and not spark. Runs slow to fast speed. See last pictures of it running. Lubed, Over 90 years old. Ives Original Prewar BOXED #3241 Passenger Green Ghost 184 186 Cars Train & Accs

IVES Standard Gauge Set with #3241 Electric Locomotive & #184 Buffet & #186 Observation Passenger Car. It belonged to her grandfather and she received it in this condition. It has been on her garage shelf for a number of years. She has no train enthusiasts in her family. So, I told her I would try to find it a home where it would be appreciated and hopefully be restored. That is all we know. It comes in its original box which is not in very good shape. It comes with #3241 Electric Locomotive #184 Buffet #186 Observation Passenger Car 5 pieces of track 2 Brackets 2 Switch plates? Switch Tower Signal Transformer in original box. Plugged it in and it hummed. Set appears to be pretty much in original condition. This was difficult to pack safe and securely because it is so fragile. I have packed the train set in its Original box by itself. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS before purchasing and we will try to answer them to the best of our ability. Smoke Free – Pet Free Home. Estate found, Lionel Pre War 318E Locomotive Green Tin Plate Standard Gauge Train. Still in excellent original condition, very minor paint wear on the center & corner of the roof as shown. The estate owner never ran any of his trains, he just displayed them on shelves, but this was tested when first bought, and worked fine. Lionel 253 Vintage O Prewar Green Tinplate Electric Locomotive Read

The locomotive wants to run. The motor was running forward in a noisy and labored fashion. I didn’t do any maintenance on it so with some TLC I’m sure it will get running great. See photos for condition.
