Lionel 299W UP City of Denver Streamliner Yellow Brown Prewar O gauge x5827
4 unit UP streamliner has enameled metal articulated cars, 2 coaches and tail car, plus diecast power car and 3 connecting vestibules. Set is about 42 coupled together, is original UP yellow and brown, later reddish brown variation. It has Lionel Lines stamped on power car, lettering shows wear is partly readable. Set is clean, has moderate wear to edges and details, more wear on vestibules, as is typical of these sets. Car lights were not tested, may need some new bulbs. Power car has diecast whistle, not tested, as is. Whistle wire is not connected. All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. We do not guarantee coupler operation. Lionel Prewar 636w City of Denver Custom Painted IC Green Diamond 1936-39
Item: Lionel Articulated Diesel Passenger. Scale: O or 0-27 Gauge. Condition: C7: (see description). Box / Condition: Has a loco box, numbers don’t match. Description: Lionel Prewar O passenger train articulated, SUPER NICE, it is a repaint, but definitely done by a professional, a few small dings, but painted in and out. Tested and it runs back and forth, the whistle even works great, I think the passenger wheels have been replaced too, I believe the paint scheme is to be the Illinois Central Green Diamond, Super Nice. Up for grabs is a vary cool vintage pre war 1936 Lionel Union Pacific City of Denver Streamliner Train. Over all the condition is a bit rough, 1 center car is missing all 4 wheels. 4 cars total with one powered pusher unit. Great for a restoration project or if you like that used patina look doesn’t get much better than that. Has some surface rust on the cars, nothing serious. Along in this lot it comes with the original whistle controllers and transformer. For the serious collectors this lot has all the original boxes that are still in great shape. Lionel Prewar – 636W Union Pacific City of Denver Streamline Set. Set includes 636W Power unit, two 637 coaches, and one 638 observation car. Engine ran when cycled on the test bench and all lights work as should. There is chipping and scratches on the set and a few small touch up spots as can be seen in the photos. One vestibule has paint loss and wear but functions properly. I was unable to test the functionality of the whistle. Please look at the pics as they are an integral part of the description. 4 unit enameled metal and diecast UP streamliner, made 1936 to 39, is later version with brown-top vestibules and Lionel Lines on power car. Includes 636W, 637, 637, 638 and 3 connecting vestibules. Set is about 42 long, has wear, but is mostly original/complete. Most wear is edges/details and vestibules, except 1 #637 coach has more wear. LL lettering on power car is worn. 1 vestibule is missing its wheels, there is some corrosion, mainly on vestibules. Power car is missing a handrail and E-unit looks like a replacement with new wiring. Whistle is there but solenoid bracket is broken. All Items, including N.
