Lionel PreWar Union Pacific City of Denver Tinplate Pass Set 636W Clean Repaint
Lionel PreWar “Union Pacific “City of Denver Articulated Pass Set 636W Repaint. “Customers that communicate are highly valued”. Please note – these older trains always need something in the way ot tlc and a good working knowlege. The whistle works and it runs nicely in both directions. Maintenance including brushes was recently done but it is not a perfect out of the box set. Minor scratches and paint nicks, minor spots of surface rust, free of dents. May have minor parts replaced. I have tried to describe an. Please expand the photos to get a very detailed look at the item, these are the exact cars that you will receive. Please note that I do no cleaning or repairs and leave that to the hobbyists. Most all used items will be in need of some work and tend to be dusty and even dirty from sitting in storage. These are mostly older aged items, there will be flaws unless noted. I’m happy to research any questions or send additional photos as needed. To avoid either of us having a negative experience, please inspect your item on receipt, and contact me immediately if you are not satisfied so the situation can be remedied. Prewar Lionel 117 City Station 1935-1942
Prewar Lionel 117 station with train control. This is a harder station to find than the 115 (which has exterior lights, this does not). All original needs a good cleaning especially in the crevices. Would look better once cleaned up. Check out the pics tried to show everything.
Lionel Prewar 636 W. Original Set. 1930’s. O gauge. Union Pacific City of Denver
This is a Union Pacific “City Of Denver” Streamliner Passenger Train Set. Set includes a 636W streamliner locomotive, two 637 passenger cars and one 638 observation car plus 3 vestibules. Sale includes its 636W engine box. Box is solid with one end missing its flaps. Set is an O gauge from the 1930s. Set has been sitting for some time and it ran last time I used it, but it could use a tune up and cleaning. Color scheme is a desirable brown and yellow. A fair amount of play wear and loss of finish from use.

Lionel Train Station #116 Prewar Lionel City Exc. Here is a vintage Lionel station #116 not the MHT replica. This was made around 1940. It is the rare green/ cream colored version. The station has some light wear to the paint. It does have all 8 working doors, has all the steel windows. Has all the heavy steel vent screens. It has the roof with the metal vents and braces. Has both clocks on each side. Has both original bulbs in front. Has the automatic train controller. No dents to the metal. Nothing is wired up to test bulbs or workings with a train. Over 80 years old. Says on the bottom “No 116 station made by the Lionel Corporation New York”. It is quite large at 19.5 inches long and rare. This is the real deal. Lionel Original PreWar City Railroad Lighted Station No. 115 Working Nice
This piece comes with the 3 correct lights, and they all are wired and work. The top train switch is present, but it was not tested. This building looks all original, with all the moving doors, the two clocks, and the trim work. I don’t see anything missing. This 80+ year old station shows minor scratches, but no rust. The bottom of this building is incredible. The dimensions of the metal building are approximately 13.5″L x 9″W x 9 H. Give this as a very special gift, or add this to your layout. You will not be disappointed.
