Very rare variation of 262 enameled metal and diecast 2-4-2 loco, made early 1930’s. Loco is gloss black with mostly copper trim, brass plates, has factory orange stripe on frame and details on pilot. Orange detail is all original, but shows wear. Pilot is missing 1 tooth, otherwise frame is original/complete and solid. There is a crack at brass air tank 1 side. Cab has a bend in rear of roof, boiler front latches as it should, copper trim has tarnish. Wheels are all solid originals, few spots on side rods. Motor ran and hand-reversed with switch in cab, headlight worked. Loco has issues as noted, but a very rare variation. All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. Lionel 18, 18, 19, 190 4 car passenger set in orange w/ cream doors. These cars would have come with either a brass #54 or brass & nickel #7. Set is professionally restored and looks fantastic. Very high quality job– correct shade, excellent paint finish, rubber stamped lettering (not decals), all roofs fit well and no dents, trucks restored and polished, window material looks good, etc. Cars have interior lighting, each car has two lights. All the rubber stamping is strong (even if it looks hard to see in photos, in person it looks great) Note the observation has a door added in the back a nice prototypical addition. Each car has a tag on the bottom noting the date they were restored–1991.
