Original pre-war Lionel No. 97 electric coal elevator accessory. The motor energizes and produces a steady hum when power is applied, indicating current reaches the motor assembly. The bucket elevator mechanism does not rotate and appears to require cleaning, lubrication, and/or servicing after long-term storage. This unit has not been disassembled or restored and retains its original finish, components, and patina. Please review photos carefully for cosmetic condition and completeness. Due to age, all wiring and internal components should be assumed to require professional servicing before operational use.
