Lionel Lines PreWar 259E Steam Locomotive 2-4-2 with 1689T Tender Gunmetal. GOOD – Sign of play wear with scratches and minor paint loss. Small dents, minor surface rust. Evidence of heavy use. Minor scratches and paint nicks, minor spots of surface rust, free of dents. May have minor parts replaced. Please expand the photos to get a very detailed look at the item, these are the exact cars that you will receive. Please note that I do no cleaning or repairs and leave that to the hobbyists. Most all used items will be in need of some work and tend to be dusty and dirty from sitting in storage. These are mostly older aged items, there will be flaws unless noted. I’m happy to research any questions or send additional photos as needed. And a word on Engines – unless stated most Locomotives will need work. I try to test for momentum, but gears and drive shafts and any other mechanical things are beyond my scope. I can tell you if they move on test but some of these items due to age and wear may need some internal work. To avoid either of us having a negative experience, please inspect your item on receipt, and contact me immediately if you are not satisfied so the situation can be remedied.
