Antique Lionel Engine 248, very nice. Time to sell it. I have several listed same types different colors. Lot of time and cost in new parts. Very nice Lionel Early 248 Nice Prewar/Antique Vintage Lionel Green, Tin Plate engine Rare type, The 248 only runs in forward. That is how Lionel made it. I serviced it completely. Try to use original parts if I have them. It was really dirty when I got it. Good wire, Serviced it and it runs great. Made 1927-32 antique/Vintage toy train. With all the trim parts, I tested it. It runs great in only one directions. This type engine only runs in forward only. It was probably restored in the past. Frame has been restored. Look at the pictures and ask questions. Wheels are all new, New wires. Very nice antique Lionel for you layout or shelf. Sell for what I have in them. If you want one cheaper you may have to restore or repair it your self.
