Item: Lionel Prewar Locomotive. If no photo of a box there is No Box. Description: Lionel PREWAR 226E & 2226W Diecast Tender. Good condition diecast boiler and tender. No corrosion or rust inside or out. Like all large, heavy diecast steam engines of this era, it is designed to run on higher voltages from larger transformers. Rebuilt e-unit, replaced drum. Whistle motor cleaned, sounds good. Tender MISSING front steps. One hand rail stanchion broken. Please examine photos carefully. Photos: These are photos of the actual item unless noted on the photo. Missing decorative boiler whistle. Motor runs well, cleaned lubed. But like all large, heavy diecast steam engines of this era, it is designed to run on higher voltages from larger transformers.
