Handed down from my grandad’s collection. This 1615 switcher steam locomotive is extremely clean, as the whole set, engine is tested runs beautifully, 3 position E unit light, forward and reverse, and extremely heavy. I hope someone will enjoy this set as much as my grandpa did. I just want this to go to a good home hopefully. Powerful engine excellent Lionel quality for the collector or starter. Lionel Prewar O Gauge 249E Steam Locomotive & 265W Tender. This engine was tested and ran well with working whistle tender as shown in the video. The E-unit is a little sticky. The engine does need a small repair on the front. A new replacement part is included with the engine. Please view the pictures for more details and feel free to ask any questions.

THIS IS A LIONEL VERY EARLY #158 NYC 0-4-0 ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE THAT HAS BEEN MOSTLY LIKELY REPAINTED AS SHOWN. IT MAY HAVE BEEN BLACK AND IS NOW AS WELL. NEEDS TO BE REWIRED. NEEDS BELL AND LAMP ASSEMBLY. I DID PUT MY WIRE LEADS DIRECTLY ON ONE POST AND THE TIP OF THE ARMATURE AND THE MOTOR RAN FOR ME. WIRES ALL DRIED OUT. NO SCREWS HOLDING BODY SHELL ON. COULD BE MADE INTO A VERY NICE LITTLE LOCOMOTIVE IF YOU HAVE THE REPAIR SKILLS?
This is a vintage Lionel electric locomotive, model 252, from the late 1920s. It is a 0-4-0 wheel configuration and made of tin plate material. The locomotive is in a green color and has not been tested. It is considered an antique and a great addition to any model railroad collection. The gauge is O-gauge and it is a vintage item, perfect for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This is a pre-war Lionel O27 train set consisting of a black 1668 engine and matching (non-whistle) tender along with two tin-plate cars, a 1680 Shell tanker and a 1679 Baby Ruth box car plus a 1682 Lionel Lines caboose. Set is in very presentable condition and the engine has been bench tested and works well. Set also comes with original boxes (see photo) which are in fair condition (some tears, missing end flaps) that’s to be expected over the years.
