Enameled metal New Haven type electric on 8.75 frame. It has original peacock finish with orange stripe at bottom edge, usually means a SPECIAL, possibly Macy. Finish is clean, has some wear, mostly edges as shown, brass trim, orange stripe matches orange windows. Headlight castings are replacement, probably some new wiring, disc-type wheels look like solid/clean originals. Motor has a 3-position E-unit reverse unit, no “E” stamped or on plates, so it probably has been added. There is no E-unit shut-off switch, but loco ran/reversed fine, lights worked when bench tested. Must sell as is, due to age. Not technically correct, but all Lionel parts, runs and looks fine, and an uncataloged variation! All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles.
