Lionel Prewar #616E Flying Yankee Passenger Set: #616, #617, #617 & # 618. TESTED AND FOUND WORKING GOOD. FORWARD AND REVERSE OK. VESTIBULES LIGHT UP(FLICKER WHEN MOVING). LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE INSTALLED A WHISTLE MECHANISM INSIDE BODY BEHIND THE MOTOR? I COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK. BODIES LOOK GOOD WITH NORMAL EXPECTED WEAR AND TEAR FROM AGE AND USE. SEE PHOTOS AND CHECK OUT SHORT VIDEO.
RARE, POSSIBLY ONE OF A KIND. Lionel NO GRAPHICS or NUMBER little switcher loco – PRR? It has NO graphics or numbers of any kind on the shell. I have seen Pennsylvania Railroad little switchers in this color but this one has no identification. Struts and screw holes have no cracks. The rear coupler does not stay locked. The bottom lever needs to be adjusted as it does not stay in place and just falls out of the hole. As is usual for these little switchers the shell amplifies the engine sound. Very NICE in my opinion. Back my collection and layout drastically for health reasons. Most what I list will be dusty as I can’t clean them now because of allergies. The dust is no charge. They have sat on my shelf a long time and could use a lube to be safe. I put on my small test track to test just now. Check the photos for the detailed description. Certainly, ask any questions. If you cannot accept that, please pass this offer up. I can’t do this otherwise. I can NOT absorb them as they averaged around a DOLLAR increase. Don’t blame me. I will again invoice as the second item is won.
AWESOME CUSTOM Lionel “86” US ARMY switcher locomotive. Both struts are there. Both screw holes look good. Very NICE in my opinion. Very well done custom repaint. HAS A WORKING FRONT HEADLIGHT. Cutting back my collection and layout drastically for health reasons. Most what I list will be dusty as I can’t clean them now because of allergies. The dust is no charge. They have sat on my shelf a long time and could use a lube to be safe. These little switchers are. I think the design of the shell amplifies the sound. I put on my small test track to test. Lionel Pre-war O Gauge #249E Steam Locomotive. Cab roof corner is bent and cab is push forward, see last 2 photos. I’m guessing it got dropped. Otherwise, nice clean engine. A new cab would make this a really nice engine. Runs well forward and reverse. The e-unit cycles properly. Please see photos for condition.
Note I put a white grease on gears, you can see some of it. Found this one in need of lots of help. Needed a lot of work. Need taken apart, cleaned, re-wired, remove dents, strip and repainted shell. Serviced tested and see video of it running. Everything was polished and cleaned. It was totally refurbished and restored the shell and frame, new dummy light, Lot of work but runs and looks great now. Color is Dk Green. If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-10+ hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. Plus I usually put Fifty to one Hundred ++ dollars in refurbished or new parts. They are almost impossible to find anymore. And are not cheap. Sometimes less sometimes more. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. Even the new parts do not fit and have to be modified. SEE VIDEO OF IT RUNNING. Thank you for looking You will get the engine you see! If more I will pay. Going to the West coast always cost more.
Nice 100 year old antique Lionel 150 engine. I painted the gold trim and put the decals on. It was probably restored awhile ago. I didn’t do anything else to it. Check out everything and it runs see video. Runs a little fast with my large transformer. Need to have some car with it. Could run off the track by itself. I do not sell engine that are not tested or do not run. Look and see the pictures. Thank you for looking You will get the engine you see! If more I will pay. Going to the West coast always cost more.
Lionel #153 Prewar O Gauge Electric Locomotive. Runs well, one direction only(no reverse unit). Lettering/numbers are faded on one side and gone on the other side. One coupler replaced with a latch coupler. Please review all photos for condition.
Please see pictures and video link below of locomotive running for details and condition. Missing one tiny screw on one side of locomotive cab holding one side of the cab to the wooden base… You can see this in the pictures… Does not affect display or operation and could be easily replaced. Runs on 2 gauge track. Let me know if you have any questions.
Lionel Prewar 1688 / 1689T Gray “Torpedo” Steam Locomotive. Tested and runs nice. Looks complete and nice and shiny gray. Clean piece but has some marks. It is graded on its appearance only.
