The lot includes the 616 Power Car shell, three 617 Coach shells, and the 618 Observation shell. This train set belonged to my father. I believe that he would have received the set in’31-’34. Stored in climate controlled space always. This classic set, made by the renowned brand Lionel in the United States, features analog control and operates on AC power. Perfect for hobbyists looking to add a piece of history to their collection, this train set showcases the craftsmanship and nostalgia of a bygone era in model railroads. 23 Pieces of Track. Engine 238-E30 & Box. Tender #265W & Box. Boxcar #655 & Box. Oil Tanker #654 & Box. Caboose #657 & Box. Coal Car #653 NO BOX. 1990 MRC Tech II. Misc small Advertising Signs, Parts, Etc. The controller powers the engine and tender. The engine buzzes and bulb lights up, but does not run. The tender whistle receives power but only makes a grinding sound. Almost certainly never lubricated. All track pins connect well. The car boxes are original. Some boxes have torn ends. PLEASE MESSAGE ME WITH QUESTIONS.
