1930’S LIONEL PREWAR O-GAUGE 251E RED LOCOMOTIVE WITH 710 710 712 PASSENGER CARS. THE ENGINE WORKED VERY GOOD BOTH DIRECTION (MIGHT NEED REWIRING), ORIGINAL PENDULUM E-UNIT, MANUAL SWITCH. THREE WHEELS ARE REPLACEMENT. ALL LIGHTS IN THE SET ARE WORKING. ALL 3 CARS HAVE THEIR DOORS AND STAIRS. THE SET LOOKS ORIGINAL PAINT.. IT HAS PAINT WEAR, LOSS, SOME OXIDATION SPOTS. This is a prewar Lionel O Gauge Engine #251E. The e unit was removed. Lionel built these in 1927 through 1932. Engine has been serviced (lubed/oil, rewired and tested). The engine runs well forward and backward. Engine has all attachments (whistle, lights, air tanks, journal boxes, couplers, pentagraphs). Forward/Reverse lever is located on the side of the engine.
