Lionel Pre-war O Gauge #249E Steam Locomotive. Cab roof corner is bent and cab is push forward, see last 2 photos. I’m guessing it got dropped. Otherwise, nice clean engine. A new cab would make this a really nice engine. Runs well forward and reverse. The e-unit cycles properly. Please see photos for condition.

Lionel Lines Prewar 249E O Gauge Locomotive Engine For Parts Poor Condition

It’s missing all of its paint off the top section and is covered in rust. The bottom section only has a small amount of black paint remaining. I know almost nothing about these old locomotives so I can’t tell you if it’s missing parts or not.

Lionel Prewar O Gauge 249E Steam Locomotive & 265W Tender. This engine was tested and ran well with working whistle tender as shown in the video. The E-unit is a little sticky. The engine does need a small repair on the front. A new replacement part is included with the engine. Please view the pictures for more details and feel free to ask any questions.
