Lionel #253 Prewar O Gauge Electric Locomotive in Apple Green. Runs well in both directions. A 3 position e-unit was added and it works properly. When the manual reverse unit is in one position the e-unit is locked. Pretty clean with some light general paint loss and wear. The wheels are in good shape. One coupler is missing it’s latch. Please review all photos for condition.

This is for a Lionel Prewar Train – 1664 Locomotive 2-4-2 & 1689W Whistle Tender – which I believe is a correct match from what I can tell, although there are people out there who know more about pre-war trains than me. Overall in great condition – a strong runner, both forwards and reverse, with a good whistle. E unit is fine and no problems. Looks like the cow catcher has been repaired at some point in its life – see close up pictures. It’s a great engine and one that I have run consistently since it is a so dependable.
