Offered for sale is this vintage Lionel electric locomotive set # 296 first released in 1924 with three passenger cars. The locomotive model is #253 and the passenger cars are #2-607 and #2-608. The set is in working order and is ready to use. It features an analog control system and light function. The locomotive is made of tin and metal with a peacock color. All window trim and doors are present. The wheel configuration is 0-4-0 and the gauge is O. This is a prewar model with a three-rail system. The set was made in the United States and is a great addition to any model railroad collection. Part of a static display for last 40+ years.
