This is the Lionel prewar “O” gauge 1688-E Torpedo Locomotive. It has a 2-4-2 wheel arrangement. The engine has a working headlight and side marker lights. Engine and tender are gray color. The engine HAS been serviced and tested and runs fine. Reverse unit works cleanly. The tender is the # 2689W Whistle Tender. It HAS also been serviced and tested. Engine and tender are both all metal. Very nice condition with NO rust or damage. Everything original and unrestored.
