Set of 3 enameled metal 9 passenger cars, are late production, made 1940, probably for a Sears set. They have high-step auto couplers with black journals, no vestibules on ends. Cars are original red with ivory-white inserts, stamped lettering shows some wear on baggage car. Original finish shows some wear, mainly edges and details, more wear on roofs. One truck is missing operating coupler parts, another missing sliding shoe, baggage has no light parts. 2 are missing window plastic. 2600 and 2601 need bulbs and rewiring. All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
