Nice old 153 original when I bought it but had much work on the engine, wheels. Left cab as it was. Vintage/Antique Lionel 153 Prewar 0-4-0 Electric engine. The 153 has a manual reversing switch in the front. Pull or push the lever to change directions. I went over it and serviced it. Repaired and replaced what was needed to make it like it is. Nice older type with the metal hand rails. Runs, Serviced, Very nice runner, lubed, try to used most original parts and cleaned them up, Check out the pictures. This type engine runs in both directions. See pictures for best description. I replaced the wires and clean it. Bench tested it and it ran strong. Ead light that work.
