10.25 diecast scale-detailed 2-6-2 loco was made about 1940. It has original black finish, chrome-nickel top trim and side-rods, Baldwin Disc type drive wheels. Finish has light dirt, light edge and detail wear, good front steps, markers and cab-roof corners, should clean to look near-EX. Loco only in listing is original/complete, it ran and reversed, headlight worked when bench tested. A nice, solid, original example. All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. This is a heavy lot – with the tracks and engine and packing it correctly and secure – it comes out to 25lbs. I will make sure there is no movement in the box to damage the train cars. Fine-tuning my large personal retirement railroad layouts. Each listing like all, was carefully curated and gently treated. Each item and its packaging is in EXCELLENT, condition. , except where noted below. NO SMOKE or direct sunlight. Too bad, as it’s exceptionally clean and free of chips as you can see, except on one side of the rear handrails. It shows very little chassis wear as one can see. I have only run it three times around my large layout a year ago and back and forth today. In the meantime, it was in climate controlled storage until my annual “purge”! Sitting for so long, this engine could probably benefit from a good cover off lubrication, and break/in as it is a bit noisy, especially compared to my newer mostly MTH. If you have ANY issues whatsoever, please contact me right away, as I want you to be COMPLETELY satisfied.
