LIONEL Prewar 260 engine & Tender 260T 6 wheel trucks, see Video & Pictures

Camera shows it running slow. That is the camera. IT runs fast if you want. This is a Lionel 260E engine and 260T WITH THE 6 WHEEL TRUCKS, I Refurbished it, serviced and Cleaned all the copper/brass. Another one I refurbished. It was in poor condition when I bought it. Needed wheels, rewired, Lots of cosmetic parts missing, has a newer E-Unit with a switch in back to be able to run forward and reverse or switch it to run in one direction only. It run slow to really fast. I went over and cleaned all the brass and copper. Check wheels, Installed new pick ups. Added the missing side rods. I serviced it also. Engine was totally gone over and serviced. When tested ran great. All parts where cleaned and polished that were original. Added new parts that were missing or damaged. It was in very poor condition when I found it. Great show piece and runner. What you see you will get. I had a lot of time and cost of parts in this set. Part are just not. Anymore and when you find them they are very costly. Restore one and see. Tender has 4 wheel trucks. Any other questions please ask. See description & pictures. See pictures of it running. LIONEL Prewar 255 engine & Tender 263T 6 wheel trucks, see Video & Pictures

Engine was totally gone over and serviced. When tested ran great. All parts where cleaned and polished that were original. Added new parts that were missing or damaged. It was in very good condition when I found it. Great show piece and runner. What you see you will get. I had a lot of time and cost of parts in this set. Part are just not available anymore and when you find them they are very costly. Restore one and see. I bought this set that someone painted/restored in Silver. My intent was to restore to gun metal. MY WIFE told me she liked it as it is. She said it looked better than the gun metal or black ones. She called it the Silver Bullet. So I left it Silver because she said others would like it also. I took it all apart and cleaned it, service it and replaced missing parts. Video shows it running. Looks slow but that is my camera. It runs slow to fast believe me. Any other questions please ask.
