An early standard gauge Lionel train engine. In overall fair condition with some wear and finish loss. Looks to be largely complete, the front light bulb is a replacement. One wire has melted and the insulation is stuck to the outside. This is untested by us and offered as is for parts or restoration. Finish looks to be original. Prewar 1930’s Lionel Grey Pressed Steel 2-4-2 Locomotive & Tender with Sound VG
Vintage 1930’s Lionel O gauge Pressed steel Grey 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive #259E. With Tender(tender has sound whistle and chuffing). Headlight works, engine runs forward and reverse, needs oiled and cleaned. This is a very clean no rust or marks unit, please see photos for condition. Note, this maybe a professional repainted unit as it does not show wear on any of the painted surfaces. Only shows wear on drive wheels. Please look closely at the photos.
