Read Description. Prewar Lionel O Or Standard Gauge 2 #79 Crossing Signals. M7
PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION… PREWAR LIONEL #79 AND A #079? CROSSING SIGNALS WITH BOXES. 2 DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE #79 CROSSING SIGNAL–SILVER PAINT. THE FIRST ONE IS ALL ORIGINAL, (FIRST 10 PICS) WITH A BRASS CROSS BUCK SIGN! … REALLY NICE ORIGINAL PIECE. BOX HAS THE LINER BUT HAS OLD BROWN TAPE SUPPORTING IT. NOW THE FRANKENSTEIN ONE, #079.. I SHOW THIS ONE IN THE LAST 6 PICS. LONG AGO MADE A O GAUGE VERSION I GUESS, ORIGINAL PAINT. THE BOTTOM OF POLE IS LOOSE/COMES OUT OF BASE. YOU CAN SEE IN ONE OF THE PICS THE DIFFERENCE IN HEIGHT–ITS COOL BUT THE BASE IS BAD/BROKEN.. ONLY THE BOTTOM LITE UP FOR ME.. CROSSING LIGHTS ARE INOP. THE BOX FOR THE O GAUGE VERSION EVEN HAS AN “O” STAMPED ON THE END FLAP, ITS WEAK IN APPEARANCE TOO….. THIS BOX HAS THE LINER AS WELL, NO FLAP ON OTHER END. AS FAR AS I KNOW, LIONEL DID NOT MAKE AN O GAUGE VERSION SO CONSIDER THIS A FANTASY PIECE. THE X-BUCK ON THIS PIECE IS NICKEL ON FRONT AND BRASS ON THE BACK, UNUSUAL TOO I THINK?
