This engine was tested and runs very well. This is a collectors grade loco with almost no rust and very little wear. I did not test the whistle function in the tender. Lionel Prewar Standard Gauge 385E 1835E Loco Frame. Frame is in excellent used condition, but painted blue. Comes with the front handrail. The steamchest was bolted with a nut. It looks original and straight. I see no name on the frame. It is graded on its appearance only. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. Check out my other items.

This lot includes standard gauge prewar Standard motor with e unit, runs both directions, Has drum e unit and was pulled working from an 1835e. Should be trouble free and wheels gauge track and not swollen. Appears to be original wheels in great condition. 1835e 385e and others.

As pictured, as is. The tender has wear/denting to sides. Front part of engine where light and numbers are is loose. I do not know if any parts are broken/or missing. Boxes have shelf wear but are still in good condition for their age.

All cars, locomotive and tender are in very good condition. Please check the pictures provided to accurately see the condition for yourself. Happy to send any additional pictures, just send me a message. Most of the boxes are missing several flaps, they have also been folded flat for so long the glue let go on the long side on one seam. Other than that the cardboard is in good condition given the age. The locomotive has not been tested. It was last tested 5 years ago and was fully functional. Any questions please let me know.
