Lionel 260E Vintage O Prewar 2-4-2 Tinplate Steam Locomotive with 260T Tender EX

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item functioned when tested however a clicking noise could be heard while this item was being run. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. There are spots of paint loss and discoloration across the surface of the locomotive and tender. There is some discoloration on this item’s metal name plates. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Lionel Prewar 260E & 260 Tender with Chugger unit, video running exc. Refurnished

Or handed down in the family and put up for sale. When I sell a item I go over it completely. Clean everything, make sure it run. And replace missing parts, and make sure you have a nice running train. I do spend the time and restore them if in really bad shape. My trains will run with all parts there. Some are completely restored. Want one that works I have them. Want one to work on there are a lot out there. I have since quit working on them. Just servicing them until all are gone. Refurbished, Switches F & R see video. I serviced and Cleaned all the trim. Replaced missing parts, Has newer style e-unit. Rebuilt motor wheels etc. When I bought it, it needed work and missing parts. The engine did run so I serviced it. I installed a better new e-unit. Camera shows it running slow. That is the camera. It run slow to really fast. I went over and cleaned all the brass and copper. New trucks, Added the missing side rods. I serviced it also. When tested ran OK. All parts where cleaned and polished that were original. Added new parts that were missing or damaged. What you see you will get. I had a lot of time and cost of parts in this set. Part are just not. Try to fined a good one. Anymore and when you find them they are very costly. Restore one and see. Any other questions please ask. Ee description & pictures. See pictures of it running. All locomotives, tenders, whistles, operating accessories, operating cars and mechanical parts must be serviced & lubricated before use. Lionel Prewar 260E with260T Tender (Cream Stripe) made 1930 Only Just Serviced

This is in VG condition. There is some wear to the finish in spots on the engine and tender. This was only made in 1930 with the cream stripe. I just had it services and it runs great and the light works. This was kept in a spare Bedroom of an occupied home so it was in a climate-controlled environment. We believe in good old-fashioned customer service! We will respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, and work with you to resolve any matter! We will do everything we can to resolve the situation.

Lionel Prewar 260E & 260Tender with Cream Stripe 1930 ONLY

Lionel #260E with 8 wheel Tender. The engine has a cream stripe that has an indent running in the middle. The tender has a solid cream stripe. This was only produced in 1930. This engine has been tested and run great. I don’t see any cracks or chips. My listing will be “as is” because I cannot guarantee a complete and accurate description. All Original Early First Run 1930 Only Lionel Prewar 260E with a Beautiful Original Cream Stripe! Locomotive is in Very Good “play condition” and has what’s left of an original Box. Will need servicing and adjusting if you plan to operate. Front trucks and trailing trucks will need minor adjusting. This is a 95 year old antique toy and it has not been tested. And play wear but non the less a scarce locomotive!

Lionel 260E Vintage O Prewar 2-4-2 Tinplate Steam Loco with 260T Tender Repaint

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. Both pieces have been repainted by the previous owner. The green is not the same shade as the original and there are visible brush marks in the black finish. One of the name plates is missing from the tender. This item displays light scratches and paint imperfections across the body and underframe. The paint is chipped in several spots across the surface of the item. The windings in the reverse unit are damaged preventing switching directions. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. Overall condition is Very Good.
