Up for consideration is a nice set of Vintage Metal Lionel Lines Pre War Tender 1689W 1121-C 1682 1679 1680 2677 Lot. Items are in good condition for age but have corrosion, staining, wear. The tender wire insulation underneath is worn off would need new wire soldered in its place or tape where it goes through frame-BUT the tender whistles! I took it apart and cleaned the brushes and armature, and oiled the shafts. The wheels/contacts have some corrosion and could be cleaned more, I just cleaned them enough to work. The switcher/controller is untested-the wire insulation is brittle, broken, exposed-would need new wiring, see photos.. My standard listing lingo, please read in its entirety.
