This Lionel Prewar 1666 Locomotive and 2689T Tender in C-8 like new condition are high-quality model trains that are some of the finest model trains that Lionel ever produced. This 1666 with nickel rims and the 2689T tender was produced in1940 only prior to World War II. The engine is made of durable diecast material in black finish and is considered a Type II. I have completely serviced this engine on July 24, 2025 and is in excellent working condition. A nice original locomotive box with all flaps intact and an incorrect numbered tender box are included.
