Prewar Lionel Standard Gauge 390 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive Train Engine Read. This train is in okay cosmetic condition. This loco is missing a few parts, front lantern, white flags, a few screws. It is non magnetic which leads me to believe it is aluminum or another lighter weight metal. The frame is also non magnetic. The boiler front is also non magnetic. The boiler & cab are magnetic & I think they are original, The Cow catcher is magnetic but is missing a screw. One of the screws holding the frame to the cab is stripped / very tight & i was unable to get it to move. Some of the hand rails are bent / loose, missing one of the handrail stanchions. We did not attempt to run the loco as the wheels have major rot. Two of the main drive wheels are stamped lionel. Tender looks ok missing a handrail. Good candidate for a restore.
