This is part of my husband’s train collection and he owned this item for many years. I can’t ask him if he bought this restored, but I’m assuming that it is since it’s in such perfect condition. If it’s original, then it looks totally unused. I don’t feel any wear on the wheels and the loco wheels turn smoothly. I would assume that it functions fine but I can’t test it.
