If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-14 hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. The engine was a prior project that someone tried to restore. Many missing pieces plus broken frame. Since I have still a lot of parts left I bought it. It did have a great motor and most. The paint was terrible. I had to strip all the paint and get a new. I used Lionel Blue Comet both Light for the shell and dark for the frame. Had to use many new parts I had. It is now a nice looking and running Blue Comet engine. I do not have a tender for it. Would make a nice set. Not even charging for labor. Just a HOBBY TO KEEP ME OUT OF TROUBLE. I completely when over this set to look great. I go over and try to refurbish all original parts. If parts missing I use what I have in spare parts or new parts.
