I’ve owned this set for at least 10 years. The Engine runs well and is in excellent condition. The engine and passenger cars have been partially painted and the main wheels on the engine have been replaced. Also the passenger cars are in excellent condition. Prewar Lionel standard guage #29 Day Coach. This is the early version with Lionel MFG. It has a few chips and nicks here and there, small scratches, basically a little wear which gives it the appearance of age (doesn’t look too perfect). Lettering is correctly rubber stamped (not decals) and couplers are painted as is also correct. Could use a light cleaning. Roof’alignment is not 100% right, might have even been made that way, you can see if it you look real closely at the pics. Not awful but wanted to point it out.

Lionel 18, 18, 19, 190 4 car passenger set in orange w/ cream doors. These cars would have come with either a brass #54 or brass & nickel #7. Set is professionally restored and looks fantastic. Very high quality job– correct shade, excellent paint finish, rubber stamped lettering (not decals), all roofs fit well and no dents, trucks restored and polished, window material looks good, etc. Cars have interior lighting, each car has two lights. All the rubber stamping is strong (even if it looks hard to see in photos, in person it looks great) Note the observation has a door added in the back a nice prototypical addition. Each car has a tag on the bottom noting the date they were restored–1991.

You are looking at 4 – 21 long railroad cars. The orange stickers state “refinished tinplate”. The small letters in the center of the sticker state Train Collectors ________. Can’t figure out what it states. I did not redo these cars. I did not clean the top off as was in a display. All the windows and doors are there. The brass on the last car must have been refinished. One picture of the bottom next to the wheels shows pitting. The lights are there. The seats are all in. I do not have any boxes. I looked for issues. There are some spots on the roof that are the size of the sharpened tip of the pencil. It will look better after the top gets a proper clean. The pictures should show details and condition.
