Lionel Prewar Flying Yankee Streamline Passenger Set 616, 617, 617, 617, and 618 – O Gauge. For sale is the famous Lionel Flying Yankee. Set, along with several written pieces of information on the set. Runs Well, See Video. This Prewar Set sale includes. 616W Engine, with working whistle. Three 617 Pulman Coaches. Estibules plus the light in the 618. Offered by Lionel from 1935 to 1941. The set has a few paint dings and some scratches. Top of the engine shows wear. The engine has a bent front fender, as shown in the pictures. Not so noticeable when on the track. Runs and reverses well. Whistle sounds as can be heard in the video. From my reading on these trains, The low center of gravity made the Flying Yankee a high-speed kid pleaser. American Flyer Burlington Zephyr’s were known to be top heavy and unstable. The 616 set in this sale can run really fast. It has the reverse e-Unit. Whistle in the engine unit works. Lights in all vestibules light up as can be seen in the video. One pick-up on one vestibule is the roller type vs. The spring type on all the others. Metal wheels, trucks and axles. The window celluloid inserts on the engine and all cars looks to original. Vintage Lionel Prewar Red & Chrome Junior Streamliner Passenger Set Good 1700E

This vintage Lionel Prewar Red & Chrome Junior Streamliner Passenger Set is a must-have for any model railroad enthusiast. The set includes four passenger cars, each with a length of 12 inches and a width of 3.25 inches. The cars feature a 3-Rail-3-Conductor rail system, analog control system, and live steam power type. The set is a replica of the Advanced Passenger Train (APT) and is painted in the iconic red and chrome colors of the Lionel Jr 1700E corporate roadname. The cars are made of pressed steel and steel materials and have a scale of 1:48. The set comes ready to go or pre-built and is in a C-6 Very Good grade. This is a great addition to any collection and perfect for those who love transportation-themed models. It has been rewired and E-unit Rebuilt could use a light cleaning. There are very few chips in red paint and only a couple small places in the chrome that have any light scratches or maybe a quarter inch rust spot so it has been taken care of through all these years. I have more of these but I have to rebuild the E-units on them and some of them are a Grey color. This is the better one.

Prewar Lionel Trains O gauge tin plate passenger car set with electric locomotive. Good condition but engine doesn’t run. (wheels are expanding and will not run). #629 Pullman passenger car. #630 Pullman observation car. 8 – Pieces of O gauge curve track. 4 – Pieces of straight O gauge track. Power terminal clip with wire. Instruction booklet and papers. Note set box has a couple split corners otherwise in good condition.
