Item Description: You are looking at an Edobaud Giant O Gauge Locomotive made in France during the 1930’s Great Depression Era. This All Original Huge French Engine measures 18 in Length, Making it one of the Largest O Gauge Size Designs. Also included in this lot are two sections of Lionel Prewar O Gauge Track. The Factory Wooden Base has a 10 Horizontal Crack from End to End. Missing Weight which attaches to the 10 Wooden Base. Overall Condition is Fair – Good. Operational Update: The Motor Works WELL. A 3/16/25 Bench Test With a ZW Transformer and Alligator Clips Revealed Good Motor Operation When the Motor Car is in the Upside Down Test Position. Also, The Gears have been Lubricated with Sewing Machine Oil. This Motor Car Will NOT operate on The Lionel Track in the Photo. This Body design is unique in that the Front End has a Headlight and the Back End is Solid. (ie A similar-looking Edobaud Green Coach has Two Open Ends with a Diaphragm). See sellers other listings.
