Vintage 1930s-40s pre war ww2 Lionel train set complete close to plug and play but needs tlc as it is 80+ years old. Train engine lights up and seems to run when I put 12v 1.5a on it with my variable dc power supply. 1259E engine car with paired / matched tender car. 3 passenger cars middle car has broken coupler and end car has none as made on the end. 1 shell tanker car. 1 untested American flyer transformer, looks like accessory power nut and stud snapped off. 14 Lionel straight track with power adapter. 21 curved track mixed Lionel and American flyer I think. The 5 American flyer tracks are rougher and have missing cross members or are slid.

Nice 150 I bought and refurbished it, cleaned, re-wired, remove dents, strip and repainted shell. Serviced tested and see video of it running. Everything was polished and cleaned. It was totally refurbished and restored the shell and frame, light work, Lot of work but runs and looks great now. Color is Lionel Peacock paint. If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-10+ hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. Plus I usually put Fifty to one Hundred ++ dollars in refurbished or new parts. They are almost impossible to find anymore. And are not cheap. Sometimes less sometimes more. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. Even the new parts do not fit and have to be modified. SEE VIDEO OF IT RUNNING. FOR SALE IS A LIONEL PREWAR 1666 LOCOMOTIVE AND TENDER WITH SIX CARS. THE LOCOMOTIVE IS NICE AND CLEAN WITH ALL PARTS INTACT. FRONT JEWLS ARE REPLACEMENT. LOCOMOTIVE WAS TRACK TESTED AND WORKS AS IT SHOULD RUNNING NICELY IN FORWARD AND REVERSE. E UNIT WORKED AS IT SHOULD. THE TENDER IS A 2666 AND HAS BEEN MODIFIED AS SEEN IN PICTURES. COMES WITH THREE PASSENGER CARS TWO 1630 AND A 1631 IN GOOD CONDITION. ALSO A 1682CABOOSE-1679 BABY RUTH AND A 1680 TANK CAR ALL IN GOOD CONDITION. A NICE LITTLE SET UP WITH A GOOD LOOKING AND RUNNING 1666 LOCOMOTIVE.

Bought it from someone who started to restore it and gave up. They painted the frame and shell & decals only. I did the trim. Added the bell and light and serviced the motor. They do not know how to finish or where to get parts. Has a pull rod in front to rverse engine. Vintage/Antique Lionel 153 Prewar 0-4-0 Electric engine.. See Video of it running. Video is slower than actual running. I do not sell untested engines. Everything I sell has been serviced and runs. Some one asked me about sparks under the engines when running. If you add a few drops of oil to the side of the roller they will make better contact and not spark. Runs slow to fast speed. See last pictures of it running. Lubed, Over 90 years old. Check out the pictures. See pictures for best description. Ead light that work. Look at the pictures and ask questions. This is a Lionel 260E engine Refurbished, I serviced and Cleaned all the copper/brass. Bought as original but need motor work and missing parts. Camera shows it running slow. That is the camera. It run slow to really fast. I went over and cleaned all the brass and copper. New wheels, Added the missing side rods. I serviced it also. Engine was totally gone over and serviced. When tested ran great. All parts where cleaned and polished that were original. Added new parts that were missing or damaged. Great show piece and runner. What you see you will get. I had a lot of time and cost of parts in this set. Part are just not. Try to fined a good one. Anymore and when you find them they are very costly. Restore one and see.
