High-Grade Lionel Original Prewar BOXED #3814 Merchandise Car

Includes #3814 Merchandise car in brown with white lettering, correct original box, original instruction sheet, and 5 original Baby Ruth Merchandise cubes. All pieces are all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The car is in beautiful condition with gorgeous clean paint that displays great and shows very little wear with no scratches and just a a couple tiny flea bite nicks. All trim is intact, including all internal components. It has not been tested. The box is nice and square with all flaps! One end flap is loose as seen. The original instruction sheet is nice with some folds. Please examine photos as they are the best description. If you are looking for a condition example of this car, this is for you! Ives Original Prewar BOXED #3241 Passenger Green Ghost 184 186 Cars Train & Accs

IVES Standard Gauge Set with #3241 Electric Locomotive & #184 Buffet & #186 Observation Passenger Car. It belonged to her grandfather and she received it in this condition. It has been on her garage shelf for a number of years. She has no train enthusiasts in her family. So, I told her I would try to find it a home where it would be appreciated and hopefully be restored. That is all we know. It comes in its original box which is not in very good shape. It comes with #3241 Electric Locomotive #184 Buffet #186 Observation Passenger Car 5 pieces of track 2 Brackets 2 Switch plates? Switch Tower Signal Transformer in original box. Plugged it in and it hummed. Set appears to be pretty much in original condition. This was difficult to pack safe and securely because it is so fragile. Nice Lionel Original Prewar BOXED #217 Caboose in Red/Peacock

Includes #217 Caboose in the early color scheme of red sides with peacock roof, brass trim and plates, nickel journals, and correct original box! The car is all original with no touchup or repaint ever. It is in very nice condition showing light wear with only a couple nicks and scuffs throughout as seen. It has all trim intact including original oil label underneath. The original box is nice and square but does have one top flap missing as seen. It has a nice graphic separate sale end label, as seen! Beautiful Lionel Original Prewar BOXED Large 10E Freight Set #354E

Includes 0-4-0 #10E electric loco in peacock, #512 peacock Gondola, #511 Lumber car in dark green, #513 Cattle car in orange/green, #514R Refrigerator car in ivory with peacock roof, #517 Caboose in green/red, all with brass trim, plates, and nickel journals, all of the original boxes, correct original set box, and original paperwork! It doesn’t get much more complete than this! The set is all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The set is in gorgeous original condition with amazing clean paint that pops and displays beautifully! The set shows very little wear with no real scratches and only a couple small nicks. About as good as it gets! All trim is intact on the set, including all of the original oil labels underneath the cars. The 511 still retains the original piece of Lionel wax paper underneath the wood load. The loco retains original wheels which have fatigued, swelled and chipped in a few places. They would need to be replaced for the loco to run. All of the original boxes are correctly and visibly marked as seen. The loco box has all flaps and some added tape. It has a few small tears. All of the end flaps are present and intact except for one end flap on the caboose box. A good amount of the inner flaps are loose or missing. The boxes are all strong and square. These boxes are notorious for being rough and missing all flaps, so it is nice to find a set this nice! The set box is brick, strong and square with all flaps. It has one partial split corner on top section only. It has perfect graphic labels with a bright set number stamping. It is marked “peacock blue” which is very unusual and cool to see on this box! Also includes some nice original paperwork including instruction sheets, lockon, postcard, and lubrication tag! Please examine photos as they are the best description. Lionel Post War New Haven 2242P & 2242C F3 AB Boxed

This was part of my uncle collection who was an avid Lionel Train Collector. There is a little dust from being on display, but other than that it is in perfect condition. These have not been run in about 20 years, so it is suggested that they be inspected and lubricated before running. I took it to a local Lionel train expert who said that based on its condition, it was restored to the highest quality, Based on his knowledge of the Train Collectors Association Grading standards that it is a R-5 or R-4. He couldn’t say for sure without an original on hand to match the paint gloss finish. As you can see from the pictures, my uncle even sourced reproduction boxes to match. New Haven 2242P/2242C Production: 1958 & 1959 History. Lionel painted these in the famous New Haven McGinnis white scheme with, orange and black checkerboard painting scheme that sticks out over all others. Lionel catalogued these diesel as a Super-O diesel the only time a single-motored F3 was catalogued as a Super-O diesel. Standard features: A unit include: white, orange and black painted areas over a gray shell, single motor, Magnetraction, functional horn, three-position E-unit, operating front coupler with a non-operating rear coupler, a illuminated headlight, illuminated number boards, dual ornamental horns plus rear metal ladder steps mounted on the frame.
