RARE Lionel Original Prewar BOXED #217 Caboose SOLID PEACOCK Roof Variation

Includes #217 Caboose in red/peacock with brass trim and plates, nickel journals and correct separate sale original box. What makes this car rare and unusual is that the coupala on the roof is the solid peacock color, as opposed to the more common red color. This variation hardly ever shows up and it is very sought after by collectors! The car is all original with no touchup or repaint ever. It is in excellent condition showing very little wear. The sides are in gorgeous high-grade condition with essentially no scratches. The roof shows a couple small scratches. All trim is intact on the car. The box is fantastic as well. It is strong square and crispy with all flaps intact and a beautiful separate sale end label. Please examine photos as they are the best description. RARE Lionel Original Prewar #8 Pay As You Enter Trolley

Here is an incredibly scarce and desirable Lionel prewar standard gauge piece in collector grade condition! Includes early #8 Pay As You Enter Trolley in olive green/cream, with single motor and off-set ends! This piece is all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The #8 is among the largest and most impressive of the Lionel trolleys, measuring in at approx 20 long! The trolley is in excellent condition, showing light wear with a few nicks and small spots of paint loss. It has a solder repair to one seam on the roof as seen. The paint is excellent and stable with no flaking! This example is in much better than typically seen condition, and is in collector grade example for this early Lionel! All trim is intact, and the powered truck appears to have a screw in place of where the rivet should be. The lettering on the trolley is fully intact, visible, and bright! When bench tested here, the motor ran well and strong, and the light worked. However, the powered truck does not track well, and would need to be adjusted if running is desired. Please examine photos as they are the best description. Very rarely do these large Lionel trolleys come up for sale, and when they do, most of the paint is usually missing! RARE Lionel Pre/Post War 1-Owner Collection 2179WS/224&671 Locos/2555/115++SEE

WOW, here is a recent ONE OWNER Estate find of pre and post war Lionel Trains and accessories. There is a hard to find 2179WS Train set with master carton, 671 Loco with box and liner, 2046W Tender with liner and box, the correct cars with boxes (I think the Sunoco tanker is shown in a later pic, it should have a single dome, that one has a double dome), and 6467 Caboose. Master and inner boxes show wear as seen. I have NOT TESTED any parts, they are directly from the estate to you. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR NEED MORE PICS, PLEASE ASK!!! Please see all 24 pics. There some box flaps torn, missing and light wear as seen. I have not taken the one transformer out of the box, it is tied with a string just as I found it.
