Lionel Post War New Haven 2242P & 2242C F3 AB Boxed
This was part of my uncle collection who was an avid Lionel Train Collector. There is a little dust from being on display, but other than that it is in perfect condition. These have not been run in about 20 years, so it is suggested that they be inspected and lubricated before running. I took it to a local Lionel train expert who said that based on its condition, it was restored to the highest quality, Based on his knowledge of the Train Collectors Association Grading standards that it is a R-5 or R-4. He couldn’t say for sure without an original on hand to match the paint gloss finish. As you can see from the pictures, my uncle even sourced reproduction boxes to match.
