Prewar O Gauge (3 Rail) Lionel “The Winner” Train Set. All Metal Electric Locomotive and Passenger Train set, over 80 years old. This All Original Vintage Set’s cosmetic condition is very good; but note the one long scratch on the engine. I have never tried to run or restore this engine. The cast wheels on both look good. The cars are very nice for a train this old. The transformer (station house) is super cosmetically; untested. The track clip is unusual. I’ve had this train on display for decades. The box is pretty solid but has some water marks on the bottom. This tin litho O gauge train set was produced during the Great Depression (early 1930s) by Lionel under the brand name Winner Toy Corporation in an effort to compete with other companies who undercut Lionels prices.
