Lionel Pre War 2-4-2 BLUE 265E Commodore Perry Loco & tender. I do not know much about pre war. Not sure if this is a repaint or not. I have seen others online that look just like it. If it is a repaint, then it was done very well. There are a few smalls nicks on the loco. A few a little larger on the tender, especially on the right side. Still, I think it is a beautiful looking train. The front apron seems a little low in my opinion. It ran fine on my layout, but on my test track, that is a little wavy, it hit the center rail a few times. Looks to have very little run time on the wheels and pickups. The tender is not a whistle tender. Look at the photos for the true and accurate. Not sure about the draw bar situation on the loco. There is a “nipple” there that the drawbar on the tender fits on. But to do that the tender draw bar would have to be bent up a bit. I think that is the situation, but I do not want to start bending it, so I will leave that for the next owner. I think it looks awesome on my layout. Packed, it weighs almost six pounds. My zip is 54476. Certainly ask any questions. It is not fair that some people, aware of this, pay right away and then refuse to pay the additional costs. This is a very HEAVY load. The weight estimate might be high. So, the actual cost could be less, depending on where you live and the actual weight. If you live outside the 48 states, obviously it will be higher, and I will invoice accordingly.
