I did not restore it. It looks like someone did in the past. I completely when over this set to be sure everything works. Has a original chugger unit in it and the shut off switch in the back of the cab. Most of these had the chuggers removed. This set is pretty much original. It was services adjusted, lubed and put on my shelf for serveral years. Time to find a new hobby Mom saids. 80 now maybe travel a little. I go over and try to refurbish all original parts. If parts missing I use what I have in spare parts or new parts. I go over the motor, replace wires if needed, most do.
